Cheap Pine™ emulates the style of eighteenth and nineteenth century wood type. You can even influence the shadow coloring by using Cheap Pine Sans & Cheap Pine Shadow in combination. The font has specific hands, stars, arrows and other glyphs that are made available through the OpenType ligatures feature.

HVD Fonts is a Berlin based type foundry founded in 2005 by Hannes von Döhren. They make impeccable typefaces for displays and text use.
Hannes von Döhren was born in 1979 in Berlin, Germany. After having completed his graphic design studies he started working in a Hamburg based advertising agency. It is in 2008 that he had set in motion his own HVD Fonts type foundry. Some of his best known type families are Livory, Reklame Script, FF Basic Gothic, Brevia, ITC chino and the type declared the most successful release at MyFonts in 2010 – Brandon Grotesque. In 2011 Type Directors Club of NY awarded him the Certificate of Excellence in Type Design.
