Tom Lane is a Ginger Monkey founder soon after graduating Tom commenced a freelance career that quickly developed in to a specialist design, lettering, and illustration service – operating chiefly with clients in Bristol. From all project that I saw on his page http://www.gingermonkeydesign.com for me is special Sixty gorilla sculptures created to celebrate Bristol Zoo’s 175th birthday. Creative agency, 375, commissioned Tom Lane and Ged Palmer to produce custom hand drawn lettering for the gorilla relating to the bush meat trade in Africa. The life-size sculpture was then covered in a heat-sensitive black paint to make an interactive show-piece located in the heart of the city center.
